Elder Vincent J. Lang is a native of Portsmouth, Virginia. He is the youngest of Darnell Lang (first African American to move house in Portsmouth, Virginia) and Rev. Grace Cobb Lang (The founder of Community Chapel Church and founder of Grace’s Upholstery Shop) Elder Vincent J. Lang graduated from Churchland High school in Portsmouth, Virginia and attending Saint Paul College for 2 & half years. Then completed the Radiological Control Technician Qualification School required by NAVSEA 389-0288, Article 106.2 and working on 5 more class to receive Bachelor of Theology.

Elder Vincent J. Lang is a man on the move, first for Christ, and then the community. He has many difference hats, as Pastor, husband, father and SRCT that demonstrate his calling to be a servant of the Lord.

Elder Vincent J. Lang acknowledged his call to be a deacon in 1997 at Greater Saint Stephen full Gospel Baptist Church Pastor- Bishop Paul S. Morton and was ordained an Elder in 2010 at Community Chapel Church- Rev. Grace C. Lang Pastor. Then was appointed Pastor in 2012 by the former Pastor, Rev Grace C. Lang.

Elder Vincent J. Lang has been married for 28 years to Margie Joseph Lang who has been a constant source of support. They have been blessed with one son; Vonte’ Jamal Lang, who is the jr. deaco
